3 days to go. Norf London.

Only a few days before we head to Heathrow and Wend's almost wetting herself with anticipation. I, of course, am completely nonplussed and can't help wondering what all the fuss is about. I mean it's only a holiday isn't it? quite a long one admittedly, and I suppose we will be seeing some amazing places along the way, and meeting loads of interesting people, and eating lush food, and having the odd cold beer at sunset, and stumbling across weird and wonderful wildlife, and not doing any work whatsoever. But, you know, I'd be just as happy with a weekend pass to the Thorpe Park World of Lego Adventure.

We'd like to thank Stuey for setting up this blog for us. He's made it fairly idiot-proof, so hopefully we'll be able to update it every week or so and bore you with our latest adventures. Apologies in advance if we don't manage to post many (or any) photos, unfortunately technology and the Smiths have never really hit it off, so unless we befriend a geek or two along the way to show us how to download our photos you'll have to put up with mere words.

Stuey reckons you can leave messages on here, which is nice - please keep 'em clean and constructive. We'll be checking our hotmail accounts pretty regularly too, so if anyone fancies a more extended cyber chat that'll be the best place to catch us. Oh, and Wend is also taking her phone, but please don't call unless it's an emergency as it'll cost us a bloody fortune.
